Slytherin Dinosaur for Infinitus 2010.
I went to Infinitus 2010 completely unprepared for any nerdiness. No costume, no nothing. Thankfully I brought a bunch of vests and was able to buy lots of Slytherin things from the dealer’s room. Pokey came a lot better prepared, with her Slytherin-esque sweater and her Slytherin backpack.

I encountered the dinosaur hat at Universal Islands of Adventures, in the Jurassic Park section. Everyone thought I was joking when I put it on, but I was 100% serious. I was going to be a Slytherin Dinosaur.

So I started practicing by being a dinosaur in various parts of Universal. It helped me get into character that I was wearing my Snarry Suite bracelet. Another story altogether.

Granted, they didn’t tell me which neck to wear my con badge on. Regardless, the costume itself was super easy. I just needed a dinosaur hat and a Slytherin tie, bought in the conveniently located dealer’s room.
